Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hubert Schwarze

Career

After studying mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Clausthal, Professor Schwarze became a research assistant at the Institute for Friction Technology and Machine Kinetics in 1988, where he obtained his doctorate in 1992. In 1993 he took over the design management at GLACIER GMBH-DEVA WERKE in Stadtallendorf and from 1995 to 2000 he was Technical Director of GLACIER INDUSTRIAL BEARINGS GMBH in Heilbronn.

In teaching, Professor Schwarze represents the subjects of tribology, mechanical drive technology, fundamentals of reciprocating engines, energy conversion machines and internal combustion engines.

Professor Schwarze is a board member of the Gesellschaft für Tribologie e.V.(www.gft-ev.de) and a member of the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Produktentwicklung WiGeP(www.wigep.de).
